Global Health Conference

A message from Dr. Shenk:
“I have recently been asked to re-direct our Global Health Conference to change the focus from a research focus to an emphasis upon humanitarian relief. We have recently begun a new chapter in this monthly conference which we will try to convene each second Thursday of the month at noon in the Medical Staff Conference Room (in the Medical Staff Office/ Claude Moore Bldg) at the Inova Fairfax Hospital. Our goal will be to share the activities and participation of so many of our staff physicians with our colleagues, especially the younger members of our staff, who have indicated their interest and desire to learn more about these activities – where, when, how, and why.
